About U-Turn Designs

Thank you for your interest in learning about U-Turn Designs.  My name is Matt Morrison and I’m a native Oklahoman.  I grew up in Piedmont, Oklahoma and later moved to Yukon, which is where I currently reside.   Growing up, I was very fortunate to be raised by a creative mother and a “Mr. Fix-it” step-dad.   I owe much of what I do at U-Turn Designs to them.

U-Turn Designs was established out of my desire to create unique furniture and lighting for those seeking something different.  I don’t really have a niche but tend to lean towards utilizing antique or vintage pieces in my designs, however, I also enjoy creating modern and industrial pieces.

The philosophy at U-Turn Designs is simple.  Find those items at the end of their lifespan and make them useful again, hence “U-Turn” designs.
